Picking up the pieces

Pa's back yard. (Tamsyn doesn't need to be in the play pen, she just likes to share it with Angus...)

I had a sad yet happy nearly-two weeks in Geelong, and came home only to fall into an emotional heap.

I'm grateful of these two small people in my life, they give me something positive to focus on.  I'm also grateful for a loving, caring and understanding husband who knows how to do and say the right things at the right times.

  1. That-time-after-the-time-straight-after is such a tricky one to navigate. When others start to forget and real life plods on and you're just not ready to catch up. Take your time, Sweetpea. xxx

  2. I'm so sorry Jen...I can just imagine how your 2 little ones can be so comforting now...Take care, thinking of you, Dzintra xo

  3. How blessed you are to have three such sweet distractions from your time of sadness! Also what a beautiful place for two of them to play together while you sit and watch and refresh yourself. ---"Love"

  4. There isn't a time line for grieving. I think that the emotions really takeover when you are home and 'regular life' starts. Take care of yourself. Hug on your babies.

  5. so sorry to read of your news Jen, many hugs to you xxxxx

  6. Passing on my (((HUGS))) to you!
