no pain no gain

At least that's what I keep telling myself...

Thank you all so very much for your well wishes, it really means a lot to me.  Now I have to take it easy and mend, and accept the help of others (I hate being a burden!!).

I might even pick up the knitting needles tomorrow....

  4. I would think knitting, with your feet up, would be much better for you right now than sitting at the sewing machine! Take advantage of the down time, and let the family spoil you! Do take care, please!

  7. You are not a burden! It's just your turn to be cared for... Don't do anything more strenuous than picking up those knitting needles. Keep the foot up and I hope they gave you meds? Mary

  14. Youch. And Yikes. I sort of want to hear more, because I know this sort of thing lies somewhere in my future, but at the same time, I just don't! Get better quick sticks and get the knitty sticks out quick!
