At least that's what I keep telling myself...
Thank you all so very much for your well wishes, it really means a lot to me. Now I have to take it easy and mend, and accept the help of others (I hate being a burden!!).
I might even pick up the knitting needles tomorrow....
Jen, you are stylin'! The quilt accents the look divinely.
ReplyDeleteAll kidding aside, I hope you are well, and a quick and speedy recovery. Enjoy being a burden, it doesn't happen often!

oooh, now that's just too bizarre. The comment message window tells me that the "code" didn't match, so I typed in the new one, and now a double post... sorry about that!

I would think knitting, with your feet up, would be much better for you right now than sitting at the sewing machine! Take advantage of the down time, and let the family spoil you! Do take care, please!
ReplyDelete(Luv your sandal! *grin*) ---"Love"
Well Jen make the most of it while you're on the mend...Picking up those needles might be just the therapy you need...Take Care, Dzintra♥x
ReplyDeleteIs it painfull? I hope not, take care and keep off you feet xxx
ReplyDeleteYou are not a burden! It's just your turn to be cared for... Don't do anything more strenuous than picking up those knitting needles. Keep the foot up and I hope they gave you meds? Mary

ReplyDeleteMake the most of it while you can. It's not that often in life we are waited on hand and foot. Nice jim-jams! I hope you feel better with it soon. I'm sure you be in good shape before too long. Take things easy for now. Ann :-)
ReplyDeleteOh feel better soon! You should get a little bell for your hubby :) Christine
ReplyDeleteoh you poor thing! make the most of the knitting time it sounds pretty good really!
ReplyDeleteOh, poor baby! (I hope you are not in any pain.) Now, put your worries aside... you who does so much for others, deserves to be well cared for at this time. Rest, take your time, and heal well. xo
ReplyDeleteI'd say it's a damn fine excuse to put your feet up, do some knitting and demand cups of tea and bickies at regular intervals!
ReplyDeleteYouch. And Yikes. I sort of want to hear more, because I know this sort of thing lies somewhere in my future, but at the same time, I just don't! Get better quick sticks and get the knitty sticks out quick!
